Based on a prompt from mandraco from last year's fic exchange over at spn_bigpretzel: Dean's been keeping a cat in the back seat of the Impala for two weeks now.

SUMMARY: When Dean comes to pick Sam up from Stanford -- he is not alone. He has brought a creature with him.

Aw man, I love that! The whole thing with her lurking under Sam's seat was awesome, and then her talents--how perfect. The last scene with Sam holding her was lovely.

Loved it.

I had to pause and take a laughing break after Sam discovers that Chatty is bilingual.

Also, calling the cat Chatty is awesome. And of course if Dean is keeping a cat on the back seat she's got to be pretty special. =)

Very cool! I hope you have more planned in this AU because Chatty is quite interesting. What exactly is she, a reincarnated person (their mom?) or maybe an angel possessing a cat (can they do that?), I'd love to find out.
