The second most boring books ever. "Gone with the Wind" still ranks #1, in my mind. (The movie was a million times better. It only bored me to sleep three times.)
Lol! I don't know, I came accross a lot of boring books in my life, but this is definitely in the Top 5, for sure!
My rank 1 would probably be "Le père Goriot" by Balzac *is french* (no idea of the title of the english translation of that's book XD). I nearly die of boredom in this book (damn, 5 pages describing filth on a wall!!! I still can't believe it XD), but I'm hard and not really fair here, coz even if he can be boring, Balzac is a much gretter writer than Meyer since his books have profoundness! I read some fanfictions that were much more well writen than Twiligh...)
I SO agree with you, Enola. My brother and sister love Twilight. I tried to read the first one--and couldn't even finish the second chapter. So a 29-year-old Mormon housewife wrote those? Ha. I'm an 18-year-old supermarket cashier, and not only do I THINK I could write a better book than that, I KNOW I could. And you could too.
I'd only want to see the movie because of Robert Pattinson. He can save me any day... I hear that he hates the books and his character. He's also might be the one that slipped those pages of the Edward book out on the internet. It's a rumor though...
