Body: Pretty good. My right hip feels like it doesn't want to work quite properly for the first dozen or so steps every time I get up from my chair, but nothing else seems to be wrong.

Stress Level: 2

Book Review: I finished The Born Queen
. I enjoyed it, but as I said yesterday it has some major flaws. Events and changes to characters come out of nowhere, with no foreshadowing at all, and the overall ending feels very rushed. I actually wonder if the author originally planned on 5 books in the series and was limited to 4 by his publishers. Rating: 6 out of 10, and if I hadn't liked the earlier books so much I'd probably only give it a 5. Not yet loanable through the Kindle.

Reading: I read a bunch of sample chapters, but didn't actually decide to finish any of those books.

Hearing: Co-workers on the phone, and tapping away at their keyboards.

Etsy Find: Miniature chemistry set. Yet another thing that I love, but have no earthly use for. The mere fact that it exists is pretty cool though.

Project Follow-up: Purse shopping did not happen, mostly because the roads were bad enough I decided that making extra stops was a bad idea.

Tonight's Project: Back to the house to grab my phone, then the gym and maybe purse shopping. Once I'm home for the night there may be knitting. Definitely goofing off online.

Randomness: I think for next year's Arisia I need to volunteer for a panel or two. I'm not sure what subjects I'd be able to talk about, but I sort of feel like I should start giving something back to the con that I enjoy so much.
