I took slightly more than half of the plums we got this week and cut them into eighths. It came out to be about 5 cups. They went into a 1/2 gallon mason jar. I'm not sure what type of plums they are, but they look a lot like these
Shiro Japanese plums. They're small, very juicy, and a green-gold color.
I poured 4 cups of 80 proof vodka over them.
I'll let them soak until September 7th, when I'll strain it and add the sugar syrup.
