All's Good
I am super charged this morning. Michael left for his first day of work at John E Green! We are officially out of poverty income range. I am geeked about his new job for the following reasons:
1. Michael is happier
2. We can pay the bills
3. I can get some time to myself in the house!!!!
4. Michael will feel better about himself
5. We will have weekends together
6. We will have ability to travel
7. We will have time and hopefully energy to get more serious about baby making
8. We will be able to afford to have a baby
9. We can take the dog to the vet finally!
10. We can afford to drive cars that are not in danger of pooping at any moment
11. We will worry so much less
12. We will be able to get new windows
13. We will be able to go out to eat sometimes
14. Michael will have peer pressure to give up that 1-2 cigarettes a day he is still smoking
15. Michael and I will feel better about inviting people over
16. I won't feel like I'm the end all for surviving financially
17. Michael will feel that manly "I'm the bread winner" feeling.
18. Michael will be around intelligent and educated people and I'm certain his manners and "filter" will improve.
19. We will be in the unofficial family club
20. I'll be able to come and go from home during the day....i.e. I could take a nap or go back to bed in the morning if I need to! I won't be feeling that pressure to go-go-go as I get when he is here.
And so many more reasons....
