I want to be more involved
I love being involved..I love building houses with habitat, and raising awareness about health issues worldwide with AMSA, and raising money to help find the cause of premature birth..
But I've skipped out on the one thing that was really important to me and something I really and truly loved doing (which for those of you who dont know I did this for 3 years of h.s. and actually did it for my senior project and was team captain for NHS) which is Relay for Life. So I really want to get a team together to do the UF Relay for Life on March 28th..which is coming up soon! So if any anyone is interested in getting a team together..I promise..its an 18 hour walk but its an absolute blast and of course goes to such an amazing cause. I've never had more fun in my life with friends and good times. So if you are interested let me know..I need to kind of know now because we can either start our own team or join one of the 31 teams already set up at UF. It all really depends on the number of people interested because we have to have a certain number to start our own team.
The next captain mtg is February 6th so I will attend that and get back to you guys with more info..just let me know if you are interested!
