better times collide with now

Christmas, New Years, and John Paul came and went. Theys were good times. Before, I was all seratonin deprived. Now, I'm fine. Not only am I chemically balanced, but the holiday events left me much better overall than I was before they came. Also, I now have a new bookshelf in my room and a green puffy jacket that's so great I wear it even when it's 55 degrees outside. Amen and amen. Not that that that that that was a prayer. Not officially anyway. Speaking of prayers and official things, I wore jeans to church today. I've done this twice in the last two months or so. I'm ok with it I think. JJ and God are ok with it, so I'm good to go.

There's this guy at my church. JJ says I told him to get a rag once when we were little because he and his brother were making a mess of their food at Wednesday supper. That's beside the point. Everytime I'm at church he makes a point of saying hello and initiating a few sentences worth of small talk. He also tells me I look nice whenever we talk... which is obviously a little awkward. Now it's even better. The last two times I've been to church, he's said, "you look well." You look WELL. No lie. He kindly sat beside me today. He said he didn't want me to sit alone. "You look well" came out of nowhere in the middle of the service. I didn't hear him the first time so he had to say it again.

Brothers and Sisters is on. Gotsta run.
