iPod - the soundtrack to my life
I made an overdue realization today that I could listen to my iPod while I design pages. My desk is in the news room "bull pen" (hard to think of our operation as having a bull pen, but I guess that's what it's traditionally called), so I don't play music unless there's no one around. Not everyone is so considerate.
At any rate, it just occurred to me that I could put in one earbud, keep the volume low and still be able to hear what's going on around me.
My day has improved so much.
Now I'm thinking of making a play list to work to. Maybe two. One for writing, one for editing, one for designing. Oops. That's three.
