Well... the holidays are off to a rollicking start. Rollicking. What a word.
Lindsay arrived back from Victoria on friday, Jazz stayed chez moi for the weekend. It was too much fun hanging out with the two of them plus the testosterone parts of team Inverness. Much drinking, accidental passing out, hours of morning laughter and sore sides from all of it. I met the sweetest guy in all the world - he's moving away in days. Kind of sad. C'est la vie...
Jen and P got in this week too, and Patrick played a set last night, opening for his friend's band at Stage Nine (Matt Mays played a couple of songs with them too, it was super fun). It was awesome to hang out with them too, even if I was a bit tired.
Had a nice little evening chez Lucas earlier, complete with pizza and wine. He is going to take care of my fishies while I'm away. What a guy. I'm going to miss being his neighbor if I can get out of this lease...
Tonight, even though it's super late already, is all about trying to finish up a couple of xmas gifts, or at least get them far enough that I can complete them on the bus on the way to Truro in the morning. Inverness til Saturday, then home. I'm so excited to see everyone in the 'nish :)
