(no subject)
Yesterday, we went on this awesome trip. We began by walking up through a national park to see a volcano. On the way, we saw a HUUUUGE group of coati´s crossing the road and stopped to take a lot of pictures. Coatis are awesome, my new favourite animal :)
We then drove down to the hot springs near the volcano and went swimming in these reaaally hot pools, whilst drinking really good piña coladas. Then we went to a restaurant that actually had a VEGETARIAN MENU of 7 dishes, 6 of which were vegan!! XD and what i got was goooooood.
The one thing that bothered me though was at the hot springs, I saw a guy with a ponytail, beard & glasses, who was hanging around with his girlfriend. I was just thinking ´not fair! how come she gets one of them, when my poky is all the way back in England?!
Today, we went horse-riding to a waterfall, then went in the water. I made friends with the dog that belonged to the horse place....at least, I like to think I did :P He was a big black labrador thingy called Max, who was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally soft.
Then, in the afternoon, we went on a MASSIVE walk across hanging bridges through the Arenal rainforest. We saw more monkeys, some cool birds and another waterfall. Then we picked fresh guavas from a tree at the end of the trail.
I´m so worn out & my back really hurts...so i´m gonna go hang about by the pool...which has a bar IN it, and a waterfall going into it XD
This place is amazing. But at least I won´t be sad when I get home because I´ll have my Poky back,so i´ll be insanely happy!
