(no subject)
So. It's been roughly a month that I've been back in Christchurch. It feels so good to just sit back and relax after a hard years worth of work :) I've used most of the mornings sleeping in to recharge my tired state XD On the other hand, I've also done a lot of other things, such as catching up with people, finally having time to do things that I've meant to do for a while, and eating the delectable food that is my parents' cooking <3!
Today I watched the long awaited on my list, Social Network. It really opened up my perspective of things- how gifted and talented people in the world can be, human inter-relationships, human stereotyping, human frailty and how we can easily take things in our everyday lives for granted without even knowing that there is such depth in the origins and background. It also shows how complex business and law can be. I can't believe that the first thing I did once I got on my laptop was open Facebook and Google - to Wiki Mark Zuckerberg to read his story again, as well as google imaging him to see what he really looks like XD He looks like such a nice and friendly guy lol!! And to think, he once used Livejournal as well!! Haha, that was pretty amusing.
So yes, highly recommended movie!!! Props to him becoming the world's youngest billionaire!!
I also picked up a book at Borders today, talking about the 9 different personality types; The Reformer, The Helper, The Motivator, The Loyalist, The Individualist, The Peacemaker, The Leader... don't remember the last two >.< It was actually rather interesting, especially knowing that no matter how much one develops in life, they will always be only personality type - even after futile attempts of deliberately trying to change to a different type. Must go back and finish reading about it :)
And now I am tired and the inspiration is gone after taking a break inbetween writing this. Goodnight -.-
