Okay, so I've looked into the possibility of reviving JENNY EATS SOMETHING on WNYU in New York City. If it was chosen, the show would be stream-able over the net, with a maximum limit of 600 listeners (very nice). However, the show would most likely be during a weekday, before 4:00. Also, WNYU is very particular in what they want on the air, and the shows must for the most part, specialize in one type of music. That type also has to be one not normally heard on the radio. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Also, I've seen this next thing on some other live journal, so I figured I'd do it since it's related to music. You can do it too. All you do is click on Windows Media Player (or whatever player you use) and put it on shuffle. Then select all music, and write down the first 25 songs that play. Here's how mine turned out, and crazily enough, it was almost like a JENNY EATS SOMETHING show, with a few top 30s sneaking in.
1. Jack Johnson - "Mediocre Bad Guys"
2. Soul Coughing - "Soft Serve"
3. Elton John - "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word"
