Today is my birfday!!!!

I'm 1 year closer to being an old lady, but that's ok because I'll be one very rad old lady! I guess it's been a while since the picture I use for my icon has been taken. Just to provide the context of the rest of the picture...I am frowning becuase my dad is putting a worm in the fishing hook of my snoopy fishing pole and I am very concerned that the worm is being seriously injured! Also, if you could see the rest of the picture you would see that my matching purse and empty cup of ice-cream (my favorite summer-time treat) are on the grass beside me. Wow! Maybe I was storing the worms in my purse...nah, probably more likely to be barbie lip gloss if I had to guess! And I used to have my own "pretend" house key and a little pink key chain and I used to think that was the best thing in the world and that I was sooooo important because I had keys and I would pretend to use them to get in my room or just random other rooms when people were around!!! Ok, I will end the self-inflicted embarrassment now!
Can't complain though. More of my friends already remembered my birthday than I thought would! WOW! It's nice to be thought of and I will surely remember all of there big days as well!

And of course Tom has spoiled me rotten with my ring as my present and came over last night and brought me my favorite dessert...CHEESECAKE with a candle on it!
