Apparently, I like pain
Earlier this spring, I told Kim that we could do a bike race together. I never really expected we would move forward with this becase Kim, in many ways, is like a Jack Russell Terrier. She gets really excited about something but when a new more fabulous thing comes along, she's excited about it and the earlier item falls by the wayside. It's perfect because I'm much the same way. We both havce the attention spans of the average house cat. It works for us.
She wasn't sufficiently disctracted by her new hobby, golf, to forget about the bike race. Last night I registered both of us for the Elephant Rock Ride. It is a week from tomorrow and the only trainig I've done was to get the bike out of storage and put air in the tire.
This is going to hurt.
