! He played so well yesterday. Not to forget his fellow RIT bro Pinizzotto, with two assists. Sturm looked really good, Eddie Lack was a brick wall, Polacek made an awesome save on a breakaway(no broken faces though) and Ballard looked solid!

OH SNAP AND THAT GOAL WAS SHORTHANDED?! \o/

"The Sabres won against the Habs tonight."

That's, like, doubly awesome. :D habs can suck it

But a Mets icon to counter the Yankees part. :3

Your like bar is awesome!

YES. Which made my proud creys even worse. I can't wait until he gets his first official NHL goal :)

I have to pick your brain on your thoughts about how the playoffs are shaping up. I'm really bad at paying attention to things outside the division, especially now that I also have hockey and football to keep track of.

*claps hands together gleefully* Well!

Okay so I don't know much about the AL outside of the East, and I know you know what's going on there, so we don't have to go over it (but the Red Sox are starting to remind me of the '07 Mets, who, 7 up with 17 to go, missed the playoffs on the last day of the season. I really hope that doesn't happen with Boston baseball should not pay the price for hockey!). But apparently, Detroit has also clinched their division, and Texas is up 4.5 over LA with eightish to play.

In the NL Wild Card, Atlanta's lead over St. Louis falls to a game and a half, after they were shut out by the Marlins tonight, and, as mentioned, the Mets lost to the Cardinals. I'm not sure which team I would rather see make it, because as a Mets fan, I'm legally bound to hate them both. I do like Milwaukee and Arizona, though, so I'm putting my weight behind them.

If the season ended today, Boston gets Detroit and New York gets Texas, and I'd be quite confident in both East clubs (another Boston/NY ALCS? OH GOD YES PLZ). Philly, meanwhile, would get Arizona (shit) and Milwaukee, Atlanta.

Meh, just as long as the teams I don't like don't advance, I don't care too much. XD Also, it's one, and I should get to sleep. I feel myself getting sleepy~

Thank you for the roundup ♥

another Boston/NY ALCS? OH GOD YES PLZ

That would be pretty awesome for rivalries sake, but also scary with the record between the two so far this year! Even with the Sox's current slump, I'm still bracing myself for rage this weekend when they play each other haha.

also because the last couple of times it's gone well for boston

NOT EVEN GONNA LIE I'm pretty nervous about this weekend. :< It's been gross and humid here so I wear a hat when I go outside. Since it's not quite hockey season, it's my Sox hat. I've already been hated on. ._. CHILL OUT Yankee fans, you guys are already in the playoffs, no NEED to harass me.

I am sorry people are douchey :( Like they have any reason to talk with the way Boston has owned them this season. Whenever I see someone with Red Sox merch I just have a temporary internal flair-up of hatred and then I'm good haha

PS Did you see @vancanucks tweeted about a social media presale?? (no details yet, of course) DON'T MISS IT :O

New Yorkers love their Yankees and love to hate on rivals, what can I say? ^_^; Those're probably the jumpers, though. I don't let it get to me but it's like "Oh, you're so clever. I've never heard that insult before." It's more wearing that I've heard it all a hundred times than that I get it at all.

27 RINGS HURR DURR

OH GOD just when I've stopped checking twitter like a fiend (screw you, @canuckstickets, seriously). I HAVE DANCE PRACTICE TODAY AND NO SMARTPHONE I hope I don't miss it! ;A; no fair posting at 3:45 in the morning! As it is, I'm going to be like "What? No, sorry, can't hear you. ... Yeah. They're singing the national anthem. ... I'm at a baseball game. ... BASEBALL! ... No, I'm in New York. Hang on, it's almost over, they're gonna cheer." trying to buy tickets tomorrow. XD
