Syracuse... you couldn't wait one more round? You had to kick me when I was down? SERIOUSLY? UGHHHHH. Plus the Sabres losing in OT after having a 3-1 lead with 2:30 min left in regulation(BLAKE GEOFFRION TROLLS ONE OF MY TEAMS YET AGAIN). I can't even. I need a life.
In other news, Tyler Brenner signed with the Leafs today. Not surprised since their GM was at the Ritter watching him a couple weeks ago. I feel conflicted because I don't like the Leafs. Can I just root for him? He'll be with the Marlies for a while anyway.
I feel kind of meh about this whole season. Bullet points since I don't feel like making proper discussion:
-The way the finale started, I thought I missed something. It was a weird move.
-I feel like the Alby storyline just kind of fizzled out. I wish we had more permanent closure/consequence.
-I am still confused why Frank turned from a total asshole to a caring guy. I guess he felt bad about the VD and losing his other wives, but it just seems weird for him to be nice.
-Ben and Heather was weird. I side-eyed him when he said he could be with both Heather and Rhonda. I wouldn't have taken him back.
-I don't get Nicki's behavior with Cara Lynn(the self-esteem drama bit). I don't follow the progression of it. I feel like there could have been a better way to go about it, tying in Nicki's feelings about Juniper Creek and those types of relationships. It seemed like Cara Lynn was going to throw her down the stairs.
-I liked the part with Barb, Marge and Nicki in the car.
-I would have preferred Bill in jail, but I guess I still like the end result with the wives branching out. And Barb finally got to be priesthood holder. Of course it probably wouldn't have happened if Bill didn't die, because Bill was kind of an ass.
