A lot of crazy things have been going on the past week, but I'll just leave it at that.
I didn't make it to Ohio to say goodbye to Kassie. I'm really sad about it :( But at least there's skype and letters and the internets. I sent her a letter today, hopefully it will get to her before she leaves on Thursday.
I wasn't planning on it, but now I'm going to Rochester this weekend. Stef's going to visit Jess and Ev, and Mama D wants to take us all out to lunch. So I'm riding with her to meet them. Free ride, free food and getting to see my best friends. Woo!
I finally got to the eye doctor today. It was less eye abuse than I was expecting- no eye drops this time around. The appointment itself was like 10 minutes, which seems a lot shorter than normal. I haven't had an appointment since 2007, and there was a little bit of change in my prescription. My left eye is -6.50 and my right is -5.25. My vision is sooo terrible. I'm surprised how easily I found frames I liked, and luckily they were off the cheap wall. Score! They had my lenses and frames in stock, so I am picking them up tomorrow at noon.
And lastly, abarero wrote me a wonderful Torchwood fic for Gwen/Rhys with a side helping of PC Andy and a sprinkling of Tosh/Owen and Jack/Ianto. It turned out really awesome and cute! :D Here's a link~ ♥
