My weekend in Rochester was much needed. I've been so lonely lately, it was nice to have a dose of love from my best friends(DOUBLE STUF ♥). Sunday was also a happy day, because Jason Mraz got two Grammys! I've been a fan of his for 8 years now, so it's lovely to see him finally get that recognition. Of course some of the other people that won made me scratch my head, but whatevs.
I got a phone call this morning from Kassie saying she got a job. I'm so happy for her, but...
IT'S HALF WAY AROUND THE WORLD. IN ABU DHABI, BEING A NANNY FOR THE ROYAL FAMILY. (ok, that part is kinda cool). Nearly 7,000 miles away from me. I know, I know, selfish. I mean, what an amazing experience she's going to have. But I will miss her liek whoa. She's having a going-away party on Sunday in Ohio, but I don't know if I can afford to go. :( :( :(
I broke my glasses before going to work today; they're currently taped together on the side. My vision is abysmal(I can barely see anything more than a few inches from my face), so I need to get to the eye doctor asap. Hopefully it's an easy fix.
