another entry so soon, whoa!
I am currently working on making iTunes pretty with album artwork and correct id3 tags for all of my music. I have a lot, so this is probably going to take me FOREVVVVER. But I feel like I have to do it, because on the rare occasion I'm in album view for iTunes it drives me nuts. It's also a good way to go through and delete the doubles I have of music.
Merlin
I ended up watching this episode with ontd_merlin in a reaction post they have for US peoples. I thought it was a pretty cute episode. I loved Gwen knocking Arthur down a peg or two. And the lensflare!kiss, oh my. I didn't think the producers would start series 2 with such heavy Arthur/Gwen; I thought they'd ease into it seeing as it wasn't so prominent in series 1. But hey, I ship most pairings in the show, so I don't care what they do when. OT4 <3
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
This is my feel-good show. It's not unusual for me to tear up at some point when watching. It can be cheesy at times, but I enjoy it. This season they've decided to bring in a celebrity every episode. LAME. They were listing off who would be appearing, and the only one I was remotely interested in was Xibit, and that was only for the lulz he'd bring. And who did they have for the first episode? Patricia Heaton. I HATE HER. HATE HATE HATE. So I ended up fast forwarding every time she came on, because when I actually listened to her my eyes were rolling hard. WHY TY, WHY. I also noticed Ty didn't have a secret room. I enjoy the cheesy bits with Pauly or whoever trying to sneak in! And there was at least one less designer than usual on the bus. This brings down the odds of Ed being on the show, and that is a travesty. The best part of the show is Ed's accent :(
How I Met Your Mother
This was a decent episode. I love the doppleganger plot they've got going on, and the promise that we'll see doppleganger!Barney and doppleganger!Ted at some point this season. Lily's excitement over Stripper!Lily was funny, and I enjoyed Marshall's elaborate fantasies. And the kitty bridesmaids! XD; I feel like they should have done more with the Barney and Robin issue. They just kind of left it hanging; I thought they'd go back to them at least one more time. Have Robin leave or something, idk.
The Big Bang Theory
A so-so episode. I enjoyed the bits with Raj, Howard and Sheldon. Dr. Crawly's ranting slayed me. I'm still not feeling Leonard, so his bits were "meh" for me. =/ Sheldon continually bringing up his and Penny's failures in bed did amuse me though.
House
I was a little sad that House would be returning to the usual cookie-cutter episodes after last week's premiere[which I loved]. But I was pleasantly surprised that wasn't the case at all. Taub was whipping out snark that was reminiscent of my favorite late coffee boy. Thirteen wasn't as annoying as usual. House and Wilson's interactions were hilarious Foreman was a bastaaard. The video game thing was a bit lame, though how can you not like a giant rampaging pterodactyl.
So. I want to know what's going to happen to Taub and Thirteen now. While I love the original duckling reunion, I hope they're not gone-gone. Especially with that spoiler that's been going around.
My Torchwood books are in and "processing" at the moment. I'm hoping that means they will ship today or tomorrow. I read a review of Risk Assessment, and it sounded really good. I'm feeling much better about it than Consequences at the moment. I'll probably save it for last.
