I think this has been the longest I've gone without updating in a while. It's almost been a week =X
Jen C, Everett, Jess Ellis and Carol came into town on Thursday to stay with Stef, so I spent a lot of time this weekend with them. We went to the fair on Friday, and then Stef's graduation/birthday party was on Saturday. Nate came into town for that as well. After her family left, it became quite the party. Probably only the 3rd time in my life I've been drunk-drunk. I discovered that Arbor Mist tastes just as bad as normal wine, and cosmopolitan mixer tastes like cherry slushy. I'm surprised we didn't burn the camp down with our bonfire, heh. The following morning[yesterday!] we had brunch with Stef's family again, then everyone except for Nate left. Sad times. My mom wanted to hit the Fair again, so I went with her and AJ. I met up with Stef and Nate around 8 for the MC Hammer concert. It was alright, but we left after about 6 songs. I thought my mom would be ok with AJ, but that wasn't the smartest idea. She not only won him a goldfish, but bought him 2 frogs. *headdesk* if I was there, I would have talked her out of it! My dad had to end up picking her up, because there's no way should could wrangle a 3 year old and carry all that crap on the bus.
Then today she went to the store to buy a bowl for the fish, only to come home with 2 mickey mouse platies. wtf? So now we have Spongebob and Patrick the frogs, Squidward the goldfish and Mickey and Minnie the platies. And they have 3 separate tanks, which I was given the task of setting up. Thanks, Mom. Otherwise, today was spent watching baseball, and doing little things that had to get done around the house. Like clean my room.
Tomorrow I am delivering Stef to the airport, where she will be spending several days with rmnfirefly in Portland. I wish I could go :( I miss Rachel!!
I'm in dire need of an icon overhaul. I get charged via automatic payments for my paid account tomorrow, so my count should be up to 127 with new loyalty icons. I just deleted a bunch of my Torchwood icons to make some room, too. I'd like to get some representation from the other shows I've been watching lately, especially with the fall TV season starting.
