random stuff
Went shopping at Walmart with Kiki and Katie today for the PSP fundraising committee. We were buying fabric to make letters. I didn't know Walmart had such cute fabric, it made me want to learn to sew! I ended up buying a set of knitting looms to make timelords with to make hats and scarfs with. I would like to make some things for AJ and my nephew-to-be-born. It was only $11 for like 5 looms and all the tools. Of course I can't do anything with them until I finish my scarf... Which is now at 800 rows of 1258!
Tonight I went to Tiger Idol[RIT talent show] with a bunch of my PSP brothers to support Tork. It was fun once the people running it got their shit together. He is a pretty quiet kid, but damn he can sing! He was totally robbed by the judges. Up yours, Ed Wolf! A pleasant surprise was getting to see callistazm perform as well XD
Plans are proceeding on our trip to Army. It's shaping up to be: Jamie, Melissa, JJ, Captain, Jess, possibly Lisa, possibly Ryan and possibly Summer. We're getting 2 hotel rooms, and it will probably cost us about $20 each. Hopefully we'll get free tickets from Chris, which would save us another $20. *crosses fingers*
I wanted to talk about Press Gang because it has quickly sucked up a lot of my attention. It's just so enjoyable. I really love the characters, from crazy, bossy Lynda to scheming Colin, totally whipped Kenny to bad boy Spike. Lynda and Spike have the type of relationship I like reading/watching; they're so antagonistic towards each other but really like each other. I just finished "At Last a Dragon" and ended up doing a little dance at the end of it. Of course I've read what's going to happen later in the 2nd season between the two of them and I know it's going to piss me off, but for now I adore it. I'm just sad I can't find season 5 anywhere!
I have a headache, I want to go home and sleep. Stupid late shift at work! At least I don't have anything to do until 6pm tomorrow? [aside from watch the CoE trailer at 4pm!]
PS speaking of, 14 hours and 44 minutes until the Children of Earth trailer is released!
PPS It is now after midnight, so 5 months until I go to Torchsong :D
