(no subject)
On 2-22-2002, my family finally got the internets. Subsequently, my cousin shelgottago also gave me an LJ invite code. And now here I sit- 6 years, 119 icons[in particular this Brak icon as my first!], 1,790 entries, 7,970 posted comments, 5,346 received comments, 87 friends and 107 communities later. Happy Birthday to my LJ <3
I was amused today to find a picture of the Goalie fight on the 2nd page of the Reporter[weekly campus magazine], with no other mention about it. XD; uhhh... There was a nice little article on Simone Lambert though. What will I do when hockey is over in a couple weeks?! I don't want to think about it. And there are so many great guys graduating this year! Harris, Patry, Walton, Smith, Lambert, Burns and Draper- I will miss you :(
Sign ups for work next quarter are today at 3pm. My schedule is pretty compact next quarter, so I actually have a lot of possible time open to work with. Hopefully I can get at least 13.5 hours again, if not more. I am thinking of picking up a Sunday or night shift, because they yield more $$$ [time and a half or a .75/hour stipend, respectively].
My mom isn't too happy about Saturday's hockey road trip, but it will be epic. Lynette can't come, so it's Ev, Elisa and Kyle now. Jamie wants to come, but I don't think my car would be kind to 3 people in the backseat for a long drive. Sadness. Still working on the epic playlist for that, can't seem to focus on getting it done! Of course I got distracted by downloading new music for it and subsequently having to move some stuff onto my hard drive to make room. Poor Fred[my external] only has less that 100GB free on him now. When I eventually get him a friend, I have decided to name him Ron[because Stef already has a George :P]. But when that will happen I don't know, because I AM POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR.
PS: BBC America: Will you please update the Captains Blog? Episode 4 aired forever ago!
PPS: I want to go to this. Even if GDL can't sing to save his life, he is so pretty when he does it XD;; [That's what earplugs are for] Also, he better not be rocking the funky facial hair thing he likes to do; it turns pretty into scary. In any case, I wish I lived in the UK :(
