So I am not very good at writing down my life online. This defeates the purpose of the livejournal I was going to keep while I was abroad. It also kind of left everyone hanging because my last entry (besides the one Colin left for me, haha) was rather depressing. Ah well, I will update now. :) with some highlights:
PARIS!!!!: I went to Paris, and not only did I go, I went with the man I am completely in love with, Colin Hogan. We just decided to go on a whim, and it was amazing. I've been there before, but i was 16, and I can't believe how much I missed/didn't notice. We took the chunnel from London :D we were supposed to take it the night we got there, but we missed the last chunnel out of london, and ended up staying an unexpected night. So we walked to TESCO (a pretty big grocery store here in England) got some beer and sat on our balcony and drank and talked :) Then this jamacian guy who was high on something came out on the balcny (his room conected to it too) and told us this was the best spot for lovemaking, hahaha. we left reeeeally early the next morning and got to Paris by 10 am. We did SOO many things, all the major sites, it was wonderful just walking down the prominade with Colin holding hands and being in love :) I noticed so much more this time, haha some guy was congratulationg Colin in french for having me as his lady or something similar to that, hehe. I really love France, its completely amazing, and I would love to go see more of it. I wish I spoke french well, I'd want to study there. It's no matter thought because we're going to own a house there someday soon :P On with the sightseeing... I LOVE the Lourve- I want to go back and go through the entire thing. If anyone has read the DaVinci Code, I saw the upside down pyramid!!!!! le pyrimide inversee. We walked down the prominade and looked at all the street vendor art. We went on the eiffel tower at sunset and watched the lights come on. Then we sat in the park and watched the lights sparkle and just layed and talked. We saw Notre Dame and Le Sacre Coeur, we ate croissants and crepes, and we were definately romantic :P It was the best weekend of my life. I love remembering it now :)
York to Visit Anna: York is one of the oldest most historical towns in England, the Vikings lived there, haha. It's small city, but busy, and there's a HUGE open market, A ruined Abbey, Yorkminster Abbey, which looks like Westminster and old old OLD miedieval walls around the city. Anna's college is sooo cute. It's pretty small, and she doesn't have internet OR A PHONE in her room!!!! how messed up is that? hahaha there are some Canadian foreign exchange students there, and a bunch of ppl from albany, go figure.
