Summer :-(
Well, it's happened, most of my close friends have left for the summer. Amanda left at 10 this morning, I had to say goodbye to her before I went to my last final, that was so hard, I don't know what I'll do without Amanda. I'll miss her high spirits all the time, and I won't have her to get hyper with and have non-stop giggle time. We'll just be calling each other every five minutes, and everytime anything remotly exciting happens
Claire left at 3, which isn't that big of a problem because she'll be in Iowa City all summer and I'll see her. But it's still not the same, I won't get to talk to her as I drift off to sleep, I won't have to throw shit at her to get her to shut off her damn alarm clock that goes off about 10 times before she actually gets up. It's nice to walk into your room after something exciting/funny/stupid happens and have someone to tell the story to.
I'm beginning to count down the 101 days until guide camp and 103 days until the rest of the band returns. I haven't even left Ames yet, and I'm counting down until I get to come back. I miss my friends!
