You know it is one of those weeks when you have issues making the nectar of life: coffee.
Yesterday I set up the coffee, hit brew and walked away only to find out I forgot to plug the machine in.
Today I add the water, check to make sure it is plugged in, hit brew and walked away. When I get back I pour the milk in (I have a one cup maker) only to notice the "coffee" is way too pale. Duh I left out the actual Coffee Grinds! Mmmmm hot slightly coffee flavoured water with milk.
Tonight is the Great Big Sea concert and I am going to dance, hoe-down and sing at the top of my lungs! Fantastic! Oh, better go put water in the fridge and freezer. We drank 6 bottles at the Rush concert and we could have used more.
I got my hair cut short yesterday. No more being caught in the car door when it is windy. No more getting trapped under Greg's shoulder in the middle of the night causing me to yank it out painfully. I can now brush my hair without pulling it over a shoulder to finish the job. And it is so much lighter!
I am torn today between finishing my scarf or reading a book. LAst night I was up till 3am figiting and decided I have way too many things on the go that I have to buckle down and finish stuff.
- Gloves for my bestie to match the scarf and hat I made her
- slippers for my other friend that she has been asking for years to be done
- Greg's birthday arigumi cuttle fish that is almost a year late
- zig zag afghan
- jean crochet floor rug
- pink and green and unknown colour afghan
- wool I bought to make a crochet page boy hat but now don't want to make it anymore - use for scarf instead?
- practice starter sock. Stuck at the heel because I don't know how to turn it.
- baby quilt needs to finish quilting and binding
- Seurat quilt still in box waiting to be started
- Flower garden quilt
- punch needle crafty thing half done
And I am sure there is more. I am just working from memory here, not planning to go digging in the Storage Closet of Wonder as all that stuff is of course at the very bottom.
I think I need professional help....
