I am going to see THE QUEEN tomorrow!!!
Before I get comments about how outdated the monarchy is and etc... I know almost for a fact that she will probably not come back to Canada before the end of her reign. Don't ask me why but it is a sneaking suspicion.
You see, with it being Canada Day the QUEEN will be here in Ottawa for noon to supervise the opening ceremonies. CRAZY!! And I may be a dork but I am wearing a wide brimmed hat in her honour, as well as to protect me from the sun/possible rain. shhhh! It may be a straw hat, but a hat nonetheless.
What more could you ask for? RCMP musical ride, changing of the guard, Snowbird flyover and "hem hem" the QUEEN!

Ok, off to pack snacks for the day and get all excited for a day outside, hoping there is no rain.
