Well I got home today, put Jessie to sleep, and found that my mother and husband were calling because of a shooting in Omaha. Turns out it is at the mall that my sister cuts hair in the JCPenny salon. So far we have found out that Dawn was by the grace of luck and God, working at her other job when this all happened. Now we are waiting to hear if any of the individuals involved are among her friends and/or coworkers. The story behind the shooting is still unravelling, but the latest news report in York says that boy was a troubled youth, who left a suicide note at some point today, was fired from the only job he has ever had (only hope he has ever had), and went off the deep end. God, how sad.
