LOL - I thought it would drop the people that had me friended that I had NOT friended back. Instead I managed to keep all of those and delete all the friends I wanted to keep. :)

i always do it through the 'manage' page. the little blue and green arrows make it easy.

No - the problem isn't that I unfriended people - its that I managed to remove myself from your friends list! So its all my friending you and none of you friending me. I didn't even know I COULD do that!
