Good Things

Mar 12, 2005 17:40

Because of the work that I've been doing lately and because of its overall success, I've been asked to chair an annual dinner held by 'Habitat for Humanity' as well as helping out with the design and programing for a huge rally taking place here in town.

I'm very honored, slightly humbled, and extremely excited. It's a chance, an opportunity, to mix two of the things I love most in this world... helping other people and business. -smiling softly- And it didn't hurt my ego either when I was asked by both organizations. Hey, I'm an honest grrl. -shrugging with a grin- So sue me.

Things have been really good and extremely busy. I've joined 'The Women's League' and outside of the gym three days a week, I've been balancing my time between Sara, Jeremy, and the other... influences in my life. -smiling slowly-

If I've learned one thing folks, and it comes _highly_ recommended, don't be afraid to take a jump when you know things might not be all neat and pretty. The benefits aren't immediate, but those that are, are rarely worth the trouble in the first place. Go, jump! Do the things you need to do. Make the right choices for yourself, even if the right choices seem like the wrong or hard choices. Things have a way of working out in the end.

I'm wishing you all lots and lots of good things.

You have my love.

- Jen
