I've been meaning to update this thing...
Wow I haven't posted in a week... I think the last time that happened I was in the UK. So here are some highlights of the past week....in no particular order.
Last friday I picked up Kieran at his friends house because Helen has a scheduling snafu and was still in Virginia. I found my way to where to pick him up but alas "took the scenic route" back. At which point Kieran recognized the music I was listening to, which oddly enough was a song by stendhal... I replied I'm pretty sure yer mom has the same cd. It made me chuckle for some reason, but not as much as when I was explaining the odd behavoir of one of our cats to which he said "is she high-maintenance". A most funny expression coming from an 11 year old. Helen finally made it here after many traffic delays.
Saturday was uneventful as it was raining. I had wanted to go the the Morris Arboretum, but nixxed the plans.
Sunday we went to see my family for my birthday which was nice.
I don't think anything happened on Monday. Tuesday i went to Nikki's and we worked on the muslin mock up for the wedding dress and got alot done. It looks awesome so far and its just in crappy muslin. Which reminds me that I should call teh fabric store to see if they got the actual fabric in yet.
Wednesday was uneventful. Thursday I had an interview of sorts at a placement agency in Villanova. I've only been to Villanova once or twice before. It was a nice drive.
Today... I think we might actually go out to Electrocurrent tonight... we've been somewhat antisocial lately so getting out will be nice.
hmmm what else do i have to say..
On Ronald Reagan dying. Well its no shock he was old a nd stuff, but this is the first president of my lifetime to die. And oddly enough with the current political situation in America I sort of miss the old Reagan administration...which pales in comparison to fuckedupedness.
I've still been doing DDR but took a couple days off because my feet and ankles were hurting immensly. Its not the muscles its the joints that hurt.
Other than that my sleeping schedule has been out of what for about a week now.
I might try to get to the Morris Arboretum on Sunday weather permitting.
And we leave for the Uk in a couple weeks. woohoo.
