i think i want to say something
man it is cold outside (now that i am done stating the obvious) i realized this on todays lunch time photo excursion. it is a two or maybe three part project. as i was musing yesterday about the signage everywhere. I decided to step one document some of said signage. Step two will involve scanning the slides and editing them down. Step three will involve the digital manipulation of the signs. I know other artists have done similar things so I have to figure out what it is that i want to do... whether i erase the text on the sign completely in its environment or erase the text in english and replace it was either translations or other foreign phrases... I have to find a site that can translate multiple languages number one and number two i have to make sure the fonts will work. eh technical stuff...i'll figure out later. or maybe i will replace the innards of the sign with random visual media - that could be fun....
