Another weekend Another wedding and Halloween
Not that this has to do with either, but I got an A on my first Photoshop assignment. It was a collage thing. I spent an hour and a half on it even though we had a few weeks to work on it. And I got an A- on a quiz for that class too. Now I have to do the final assignment.
So, last night we went down to a party at one of Tim's college buddies, who is a lawyer, in South Philly. His name is the Irish word for fire battle, which rocks. I wish that I had a name that meant something that effing cool. It was more fun that I had expected it to be. Then we briefly popped by one of the West Philly parties on 45th & Larchwood. Ran into Pat, who, I think is one of those omnipresent beings who knows everyone and is everywhere. I also saw one of my art history professors there. I'm not sure if he saw me or not. weird. Tim is usually bad taste went as Roy of Siegfriend and Roy complete with stuffed white tiger in tow. Me, since I wasn't going to be in town for Halloween and how busy I had been didn't give the what I was going to be for halloween question any thought. I pulled together something resembling a 1920s vamp ala Louise Brooks or Theda Bara. I didn't expect anyone to get it aside from myself, so its ok.
I have to start getting ready for yet another wedding. It should be interesting as it is a costume wedding and at the Morris Arboretum and Tom & Christiane will be there too. I think that I am going to wear something Victorianish. Tim will be Roy again.
