I picked up some books on Buddhism and meditation today. If ever there were a religion that fits my highly philosophical and anti-dogmatic state of being - it would probably be Buddhism.

And in other shopping related news I was browsing through an astronomy book looking at pictures of outer space and said to myself "I'd rather look upon this (the universe) with reverance and utter awe and worship anyday over the image of some dead guy nailed to a cross."

I also got my mum a birthday present. I need to get my nephew something eastery.
