I've been reading this book called "Unsettling "Sensation"" which is a collection of essays regarding the Sensation controversy at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. The book deals with alot of art policy and law, private funding and public funding etc. It was called into question some of the "corporate" donations for this show. Most notably, next to Charles Saatchi and Christie's, is David Bowie (who also did a collaborative painting with Sensation darling Damien Hirst) and this painting was used as the background for what was once bowiebanc.com: David Bowie's private label bank, which was programmed by Tim when he was at the bank. It was a cool little inadvertant shout out. I don't think that the site is up anymore, but we still have out bowiebanc cards. I think once they expire I will have them framed.
