ROFLMAGDAO.

What are you reading Proust for? he really does write like an impressionistic painting. once I 'got' it, I liked it a lot.

Because I want to.

I just started reading Swann's Way. I actually enjoy it so far. Granted I am only 51 pages in to the multi-thousand paged Rememberance of Things Past. It hasn't befuddled my brain too much as of yet. Lots of dream imagery and Oedipal dichotomies so far. Well that is at least what i get out of it.
It does read like a painting though.

I have a very dog-eared copy, all marked up, from reading it last semester. If you want the map. :D

yah -- maybe I will look it over. I think that I want to take some notes about. Freud would have a field day with all of the mother-love going on....so far anyways

I've been reading alot so far this summer. I just finished reading an Art theory/criticism book yesterday. I'll be heading into Gravity's Rainbow after I finish Swann's Way. Then throw some Neuromancer into the mix of art and philosophy stuff that I have been reading.
