An update...
I know it has been forever...again. My computer is still on the blitz and we don't have the extra money to get it fixed and so it will be awhile...again. So, right now I am at the work out place that I work at on Mon/Wed/and Friday mornings. No, I'm not working out this morning, instead I'm posting to you...don't you feel lucky

Yeah, last Monday, I was cooking supper and John was in the backyard grilling our dinner and the kids were watching a movie. It had rained and stormed nearly all day that day and so was overcast. All of a sudden John ran in and said there was a tornado. The kids and I followed him outside and sure enough, about a 1 1/2 south of us, there it was! John ran in and grabbed the phone (to be sure that someone from the paper was getting a picture of this) and I told the kids to get there shoes on and me and the kids went to the neighbors house to get in the basement because we do not have one. John stayed at home...which is what I expected because of his job. So, we went to the neighbors (who didn't know anything about it till we arrived) and got in the basement.
The tornado was only a F1, but did some damage out by the interstate; knocked down some signs, blew windows out, moved a semi truck into another one, tipped over some cars, etc. It ended up a mile west of the fairgrounds which is where my very good friend Melinda lives, it was basically in her backyard when it went back into the clouds...Whew! Anyway, it caused for a very exciting night and week!
I can't believe you heard about it in Texas! Cool!
I hope you are well. I read that Gracie is getting ready for school. When does it start for her? Grant and Kari are really excitted about starting here...they start Aug. 28.

Gracie's first day of school is today, she was so excited. I'll post pictures later. It's hard for me to belive she's in Kindergarten!
