Wow. Wow. Wow.
I just got done reading one of the BEST books I've ever read. It's called "Finding Anna" and it's by Christine Schaub. It is the story (in story form) about the gentleman who wrote the hymn "It is Well With My Soul." Oh my gosh...what an amazing story! The guys name is Horatio Gates Spafford and his wife is Anna. It is such an AMAZING story of tragedy upon tragedy striking this family and their faith never wavers. I was very deeply moved.
Just in case you have no idea why Horatio wrote the song "It is Well With My Soul," he wrote it while on a ship crossing the Atlantic to get to his wife in Paris who survived a shipwreck that took their four young daughters lives. It came to him while standing on the dock of the ship looking out at the exact same spot where the ship that his daughters were on sunk and took their lives. However, that is just ONE example of his faith, there are many many many more in the book. Like I said, an inspiring, amazing story that deffinately challenged me in my faith. Wow, is all I can say.
Please....go find this book and read it. You will be moved and will give you hope in your present day situation...I just know it.
