I'll be your little Santa-girl this Christmas!
Okay, I might be insane, but because
(a) apparently lots of people want fanart for themselves (even if not by me in particular);
(b) I need the practice;
(c) its one of my favourite holidays;
and (d) I am just crazy enough to try this:
Comment, and I'll draw you something for Christmas.
Seriously. Everyone is welcome to this, even if you're not on my FList (although its easier if you are, and I'm friendly!). So if you:
(a) are an author who really wants art based on your fic;
(b) really like my art and want to see more/something drawn just for you (although, um, i doubt this is true);
(c) would just like a present on Christmas;
(d) are really sadistic and just want me to go nuts;
or (e) have some other, mysterious reason;
please feel free to comment and request!
Some notes:
- I cannot guarantee the quality of the art, so dont hope for too much. But I'll try my best to not make it suck.
- If you want your fic illustrated, please LINK ME to the fic in question. (Seriously. Link. I'm bad at searching.) If you want a particular scene done, I'll try my best, but if some other part inspires me, that's what I'll choose. Also, while I'm open to lots of pairings, if you could stick to Remus/Sirius, Harry/Draco, Snarry, Snupin, James/Lily, Harry/Ginny, Marauders? It would be appreciated!
- If you just want art - any art - and have an idea of what you want me to draw, tell me! If you want it to be a surprise, um, list me a few options. (I'm really bad at trawling through interests and picking one).
- Chances are, unless I'm very inspired, I'll be drawing portrait-type pieces. I suck with backgrounds, mmkay?
- If you aren't on my FList, like I said, I'm friendly, so feel free to add me. But if you're only here to make a request, that's okay too. Just check back here around Christmas! :D
- I'm not limiting the amount of people I'll draw for (but one picture per person, please!), unless it gets excessive. But I am going to limit the request period to the next 48 hours or so. If you only managed to see this post after then, but you're someone I know (as in, I've spoken to at least twice) - I'll try to accommodate. ♥
- Samples of my art can be found HERE, if you want to know the sort of thing you'll be getting.
