...but instead, my mind is reeling over a very geeky matter.
While I was trying to pack up my books, I found my copy of Endless Nights, and decided it was time for a reread. And now, I'm a bit confuddled, as, while reading Dream's story, there is a blue skinned, white haired lady in a red dress who can, through willpower, make green flames, and claims to be from the planet Oa. And I'm just like, how the hell did I never catch that before?
Upon further research (via Google, of course), I've discovered that that particular story is supposedly Neil Gaiman's interpretations of the origins of the DC Universe. According to this very exhaustive article, it also includes references to the creation and fate of Krypton and the original Guardians.
And I don't know what's worse, the fact that I actually picked up on this, or that I'm staying up late and doing research to find out more about it...
