Interview today

Aug 06, 2008 18:47

Well I've been keeping it really hush-hush for long enough. I had an interview today with the City of Roanoke's Planning, Building and Economic Development department for the position of Development and Building Coordinator I. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and a really nice group of people to talk to. I went in and told the truth and answered the questions they asked to the best of my ability, I took a test and filled in all the blank spots, and now I'm really just hoping for the best. I'm not really going to divulge too much information about it until after the outcome of this experience. Needless to say the thank you letters are already in the mail, and I look forward to meeting up with them again.

Other then that it has been really quiet here for the past week or so, I have submitted my letter to my landlord that I will be vacating the premises at the end of the month (with high hopes to be moving to Roanoke?) and though I've lived here for two years I have really enjoyed the experience. So far, so good... I'm hoping to not be putting the cart before the horse.

If you really want specifics you'll really just have to contact me. I'm not really about to spill everything all over the internet... It would be a complete lack of common sense.

So hey! I'm posting some good news for a change instead of using this site as a venting post.
