Wow it's been a long time since I updated. I've had major writer's block and also I've worked a lot lately. But oh well. For those still loyal reading fans, here you go...
Amber smiles as she walks out of the chinese buffet restaurant Goku and she had gone to. He had told her when they had meet up that he was hungry and she had suggested Chinese so from there they went. "Man I'm stuffed. I don't think I could eat another bite." She murmurs as she and Goku get into his car. "So where to next? You want to find a nice, secluded spot in a park and make out for an hour?" She asks and has the pleasure of seeing Goku blush. "So is that a yes or a no? Wait your face just got redder. I'll take that as a yes."
"I-If that's what you want t-to do." He stutters out. She smiles as she leans over and lightly kisses him before pulling back.
"I'm just kidding Goku. I love teasing you is all."
"I see..." He mutters and then starts the car and drives off.
"Wait, where are we going Goku?"
"To a park." He says with a smile before speeding up a little.
At the ice cream shop in the mall...
"So you have a really big sweet tooth Rachel?" Homura asks as they stand in line to get some ice cream.
"Well most of the time yeah."
"What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?"
"Oh that's easy. It's mint chocolate chip..." She trails off slowly.
"What's wrong?" He asks seeing that her thoughts drifted off.
"What? Oh sorry." She murmurs snapping out of it. "I was just thinking about something is all. My favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip ice cream. Why, are you buying me a double scoop?" She asks teasingly.
"Of course."
"You are?"
"Yes. And I don't want to hear any arguments okay?"
"...Okay sure." She says with a smile trying to get her thoughts off of Sanzo. "Why am I thinking about that jerk anyway? Just because he bought me mint chocolate chip ice cream that one day, and thoughtfully, doesn't mean he cares. Why would...he care?' She sighs softly but then mentally shakes her head and focuses on her date with Homura.
At the local cafe...
"So why is it that you invited me here Gojyo?" Mary asks, sitting with Gojyo in a small booth taking a sip of her coffee.
"Well, you want me to be honest?"
"Of course."
"I...Well I had a really good time on our date and I wanted to see you again to ask you out on another date. I know I could have done it through the phone but...Well I wanted this to be more personal. So what do you say? You want to go out on another date with me?"
"Isn't this one?"
"I mean with a restaurant and a movie and stuff like that."
"I'd have to check my schedule. And I'm usually so busy so I don't think--Oh wait I'm free tomorrow." Gojyo blinks and blinks once more but then starts laughing softly.
"Well tomorrow it is then. How about, let's say, 5 o'clock."
"Sure. 5 works for me. But I have to go for now. I have some other stuff to do so I'll see you later." She murmurs as she lightly kisses him before leaving the cafe. 'Oh man I am getting myself into some things I shouldn't be.' She thinks with a sigh but then shrugs it off and gets into her car, driving off.
Meanwhile, at a used bookstore...
"I can't believe they let you sit back here and just read books." Hakkai tells Adriana as they sit on a couch in a room hidden to customers in the bookstore.
"Well they know that I'd like to buy all the books here but can't afford all of them. And I've done some volunterring for them so they don't mind letting me use this room. Besides they never come back here. It used to belong to the previous owner but he's been living out of town for the longest time and isn't coming back. So yeah, it's my place to think whenever I need to. And of course a nice place to hang out with you without a care in the world." He blinks at her statement in surprise but then smiles as he speaks up.
"It is nice to just sit here. I don't think I've relaxed in a while with everything I've been having to do lately."
"True. Hey Hakkai?"
"Yes Adriana?"
"What do you think happened?"
"What do you mean?"
"With us. I mean one minute we were friends and the next, well we're more now."
"...I've always liked you more than friends Adriana. I just never had the courage to say it."
"What? Really?"
"Yes."
"I see. Hey Hakkai?" She asks once more.
"Yes?" He asks but then his eyes widen as she leans up and kisses him.
