Ugh. I have an intense fear for psychopathic children, be they ghosts or living beings, I can't stand twisted children. They are so much more fearsome than twisted adults. There's something unsettling about little princesses who died in old English castles. Or maybe it was Poltergeist. Or The Shining. I got freaked out in Elfen Lied. I was freaked out in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. And now, I got scared shitless from Black Lagoon's Vampire twins arc.
Imagine 2 identical twin kids, a girl with a huge gun and a boy with a huge axe, killing and laughing about it. They torture, they have multiple personality disorder, they engage in incest, and they say things like: "I haven't had an Ivan in me." Sexual connotation, if you didn't get that. Ivan was a dead man, by the way. Freaky, but awesome. I love that line. =P
Well it was goddamn fucked up. I was terrified of the psychos, but all the same I was sad to see their ends. It's just like how I took pity on Saddam Hussein's death eventhough I know he deserved it. Doesn't it shake your core, that sort of moral ambiguity?
Anyway, seriously recommending Black Lagoon to all action junkies. Kean Gin's favourite show. :P It even pays homage to Terminator and Chow Yuen Fatt. XD Brilliant show, no kidding, if you don't mind unrealistic (but mind-blowing) action (goodness), lol. I couldn't stop watching. Well I had to stop after the twins arc, coz I was too disgusted and sad at the same time. Ah damn, so sad... :'(

Finally completed Black Lagoon. Another anime made into my top favourite list. :D This series boasts the most 'fuck' and 'fingers' I've ever seen in any anime, lol. BADASS CHICKS ARE SO HOT! Balalaika included. Damn the charisma, I would be her soldier dog too. ♥ Packed full of awesome mind-blowing action and gore, fucked up criminalities and their disturbing counterparts, deep subtle romantic gestures that are so-goddamn-touching, winning poetic symbolism, spot-on emotional conflicts and unbiased racial comments; not forgetting the crack dialouges and hillarious Engrish moments, and the heroes of all villains: Rotton the Wizard and Sawyer the Cleaner. WTF-goodness. XD
This is what anime is all about. This is exactly why I'm still around watching anime. Such a satisfying hellride I haven't experienced since the days of Cowboy Bebop, and hopefully this shall not be the last. =D
