today was a really good day. nothing really eventful happened, it was just a nice day. i spent some time with my grandparents earlier this morning and then nancy and i went shopping at northpark. we had a great time ogling all the fabulous designer goodies that our hearts so desired but didnt have the budget for. i did, however, score a great pair of shoes from nine west on sale. very cute grey suede, peep-toe, platforms with an ankle strap. (if you can picture that) nancy said they looked a little hookerish, but what she doesnt know is that platforms are IN. and when worn with the appropriate attire they will not look slutty at all. sexy, yes. slutty, no. so theres nothing like a new pair of shoes to brighten a girls day...unless its dodgeball! thats right, i played an employee game of dodgeball this afternoon. and let me tell you, it was glorious. its amazing how nailing someone with a little ball releases so much aggression and gets your adrenaline pumping. the best part is that i really didnt know the people i was playing against, so they were totally unaware that i am a bad ass ;o) you can be sure that they know now.
