I don't mind the ads...I signed up for the plus account a year ago. I remember making a post asking if it bothered people nobody minded the ads so I stuck with it. They give you so many more options with the plus account then they do the basic account they make it almost impossible for you NOT to switch over. I think that's what they want...I guess they have to make money somehow.
