grandma's 70th
My Grandma turned 70 on the 3rd. My mom picked me up Friday night after I got off of work and we cruised up to San Jose styaed at her mom's, my grandma Castillo. We got to my Grandma Castillo's around 11:30 at night and finally went to bed around 1:30ish. Long day I tell ya. Well, I guess my Grandma Castillo thought that we were going to see my Grandma Divers Saturday afternoon so my two aunts (Diana & Debbie) came over. Diana called us at like 6am! So ya.....We all hung out together pretty much all day. had breakfast, saw Wedding date (good but too much like a reverse Pretty Woman) adn dinner. I also had a 3 hour nap that day while Grandma n momma painted n visted. Saturday night we went to bed around 11:30 n woke up at 6:30 to get ready n leave for San Fran to celebrate my grandma Divers 70th on a boat cruise around the bay. It was really cool. I saw my aunt Julie n Uncle Neil n their kids, all of whom I haven't seen since my grandpa Divers 70th bday 6 years ago!!! MAN ARE THEY ALL A TALL GROUP!!! I'm hell short compared to them. Grandma had a blast with everyone all together, minus my dad. Grandma was kinda bummed that her own son couldn't make it. But She understood. He's in a masters course and has a midterm tomorrow so he really had to study. Poor daddy, he missed a great day. Coral got lots of attention from everyone with wedding questions and all that jazz. Mom commeded me for not trying to take away any limelight. Why should I? Nothing big is really new with me. Coral SHOULD get all of the attention. She's the one with the fatty rock on her finger, not me. Good for Coral. So all in all a great weekend! I love my family and cannot wait to see them all again in August for Coral's BIG DAY! PS I decided on a bridal shower invite finally. Gonna buy it w/ my paycheck next month. its super pretty! :) Coral's gunna luv it. Good times ya'll! :)
