Got to rehearsal on Monday, and discovered that three(!) different, unrelated, people at last week's rehearsal had developed Covid symptoms and had subsequently tested positive (band is all fully vaxxed, and about one-third boostered). Erm. well, then. There had been an email sent sometime Monday afternoon, but I was working on other things, and didn't check email after about noon. There were more than a few people not at rehearsal - it did make layout easier, though. :) CDC recommends testing after known exposure for fully vaxxed people, and there are plans to go to Chicago this weekend. Despite being symptom-free, got a test on Tuesday, and am currently waiting for results (it's not even been 24 hours). Cancelled the appointment for my booster shot for today - I'll schedule it for next week. Also skipped LCCB rehearsal, because that's just bad form.
Birdies will just have to go hungry until the test results come in - I had planned on doing the grocery run today, and we're out of birdseed.
In garden news, I was able to get into the E garden over the weekend/early this week, and have gotten everything cut back (except the still green mallows), and a lot of the grass & weeds pulled. If it stays dry into this afternoon, I should be able to get it done today. Tomorrow is supposed to be much warmer than today, but they tell us that there will be rain along with that. sigh. I also need to clean the summer birdbaths and find a place to stash them - J rearranged the garage storage (again, and it's already turned into piles), and the place where they used to go isn't there anymore. There's still adecent amount of weeding to be done, mostly around the pond and in the empty strawberry bed, but I don't know how much of that I'll get done before winter, even if we don't go to Chicago.
