Tests, Trees, and... Tires?
Anyway...
So I had my CLAD tests today. They are tests so that you can get a CLAD certificate to teach English Language Learners. Pretty much every school district requires you to have one to get a job. The tests were hard. BOO! And I probably didn't pass them. They were pretty ridiculous, it made me all mad, and sad.
After the tests... which took up all morning and a little of the afternoon Mother and I ventured off through the forest and crazy windy mountain roads to go to Big Basin State Park. It has lots of Redwood trees. Wow! Those trees really are huge. It was neat seeing them all. A few of them were burned out on the inside from fires, which I guess is supposedly good for them. I want to put pictures up, but I will work on that later.
After Big Basin, we went for a little drive down the Pacific Coast Highway. It's really neat, I've been on some different parts of it. Most of it is right next to the ocean, and sometimes its creepy because there are big cliffs that lead down to the water. It was fun though, and we found a neat little lighthouse. My mom liked that.
Tomorrow we will start on our journey to Yosemite. YAY!
