I don't know how it happened but I'm sick again. The sore throat and icky feeling started yesterday. I felt bad this morning and didn't want to go to my training session because I just didn't want to make myself feel worse, but it was something I couldn't miss. I took some Dayquill and felt a bit better after that.
Today was my half way progress check up. I really didn't lose as much as I thought I did. But it still wasn't bad. I'm down just about 5lbs of fat, and up almost 1 pound of muscle in 3 weeks. The first week of this program was extremely hard for me. Changing my diet and having to drink all this water, wasn't my thing. But after that first week it was a lot easier. I haven't eaten fried food, chips, ice cream, chocolate bars, or anything else I love. I did have a tiny piece of cake a couple weeks ago, I won't lie. I found some 100 calorie chocolate dipped granola bars that can satisfy my chocolate cravings, or I can have a chocolate pudding to satisfy my ice cream cravings. I have air-popped popcorn, or a trail mix I made, instead of chips. So far it's working out nicely, and I'm trying to watch my portion sizes as best as I can. It's going to be hard for me still, but I'm going to do even better for this last half. I'm going to drink all my water. That's gotta be the hardest part for me. As I've said before I can go a couple days without drinking.
Even though I'm not super pleased with the number results, I'm really happy with the way my body is changing. I'm slimming down, toning up. I'm starting to see definition in my abs and legs, and my arms are not as jiggly. And I'm so much stronger than I used to be.
Finally today I reached my limit on the leg curl machine...115 lb's...and I started out at 70lb's.
I think it's going to be a little hard next week while I'm at the Mary Kay Seminar for 4 days. I'm gonna try to do some exercises in the hotel room (if I have time...apparently it's like 14 hour days). And we are on our own for breakfast and dinner. So for breakfast I'm gonna make some muffins from a recipe in the book I have and bring them along with some fruit. I'm not sure what is going to happen for dinner, I think we will probably just order something. I'll have to be careful with that.
I hope I feel ok enough to go to BodyFlow tomorrow morning.
Oh and at the MK meeting tomorrow I'm going to be a model for Dana while she applies makeup to me. I'm excited about that a bit. We are supposed to be having ice cream sundae's at the meeting too, but I'm going to bring a pudding cup to have for myself.
I got my hair done Saturday. It's short again and really blonde. <3
