This is a new resturant that one of my friends bosses runs. It serves the same kind of Japanese fusion food that Bon Qula used to have, but since Bon Qula is gone, this place is pretty good if you want to eat that kind of stuff.
me and Harry went here on Friday and we both got appetizers to try
Harry got a Takoyaki dish. It is basically small circular spheres filled with octopus surrounded with batter that is fried. Then the balls are topped with Takoyaki sauce (usually a brown sauce that is a little tangy) and mayo and bonito flakes (fish flakes) and green flakes (parsley?).
I got a croquette, it said potato cream on the menu, but it was sweet sweet corn only. which is great, because I love corn! the corn wasn't that sweet, but it's cream corn... i cannot complain.
Next is our main course.
Harry got pork ramen, he said it's average, you can't screw up ramen
I had the terriyaki hamburger meal, it came with 2 ebi (deep fried shrimp) and home style fries. it was very good, the fries were crispy and they salted it with seasoning. They included the brocolli and carrots but by the time they got it to us, it was too burnt. It is served with rice and side dish
Draino joined us half way through... he ordered dessert.
he got lava cake. It was filled with chocolate and came with ice cream and a strawberry
he also got this pear that was boiled with red wine. He said that it will probably be seasonal and not on the menu for long because it is not cost effective for the owner.
The pear came whole, but I forgot to take a picture till after he cut it up
