Summer!
It's offically summer! However, it's felt like summer for awhile now, I already am super tanned. Been to the beach probably more times this year then last. I hope this good weather keeps up.
I wish Stephen was home to enjoy the sun. That's bringing me down. I've been keeping busy trying to ignor the fact my wingman isn't around. But it's not working as well when I was in school.
Last week I was busy getting my portfolio ready for a design interview. It went very well. It was for an auto cadd job but when he explained what he needed done in 50 hrs I pretty much told him this isn't for me. However he presisted on meeting with me because he liked the samples I gave him. So basicly we struck a deal that when he gets clients that need design work, he will send them my way. Sort of work freelance. And he would get a cut. And work with his crew if need be. Sweet deal I think. It was probably the funnest interview ever. 3 hrs long and ended with beer and conversation of nature hikes. I hope it all works out.
Other things keeping me busy is work. I'm working alot of overtime... And trying to save money for school. After work I go to the gym, and get home around 8:30 and eat and clean up then sleep. SO no time to be sad. Until I have more then 30 min to myself... then reality kicks in.
Should be only 1 more month of Stephen being away. But we'll see about that... He's now living in Edmonton, so his free time is filled with fun. SO I think the Alberta life isn't as shitty as it once was living in a town of 8000 with nothing to do.
But once he gets home, I plan on camping, and hiking every weekend until school comes around and I dissapear into the library until Christmas.
